Diaspora has a lot to offer to both their host and their country of origin. We think it’s crucial to tap into the power of the Somali diaspora because the traditional idea of their potential has evolved.

Our flagship initiative is designed to engage different diaspora generations and bridge the language and culture barriers. 

We collaborate with our key partner, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia – Department of Diaspora to address short-term policy priorities of the Somalia National Diaspora Policy. 

The initiative is centered under 3 main goals: 

• Engage 2nd and 3rd generation Somali diaspora to ensure continuity of Somali diaspora engagement.

• Harness highly skilled Somali diaspora to contribute to Somalia’s development.
